Throughout this report we use the term startup studio and studios to refer collectively to entities that create companies. Globally, studios are known by many terms - venture studios, company builders, venture builders, company creation funds, and more.

Fundamentally, their core function involves addressing genuine issues by combining excellent business concepts with top entrepreneurial skills for effective execution. After testing these ideas, studios provide the financial support and resources to launch and nurture robust and grow companies.
